Day 14 & 15 - The London Eye!

I literally just said to myself "wow!" when I saw that I'm writing in here for day 14 and 15...can't believe I've technically been gone that long, and here for over a week!

I've been having such a great time, the Lord really has provided in making me feel comfortable here and giving me experiences to learn and I'm loving it! It's so fun to learn about a different place, even their system of government interests me and I hated government class in high school! It's funny too to see what sparks my interest like Henry VIII, I was so fascinated by! Kind of silly, but I don't care, I like Henry VIII, ok there! I said it!

Yesterday for class we went into London to go to a museum of the architect Sir John Soane...it was okay, that wasn't that interesting to me. But afterwards our class went to a pub and got a drink which was fun. It's crazy how here that is so normal to do! Later on Mary and I met up with our friends and we got crepes! They were soooo yummy, I want another one! It made me even consider opening up a crepe shop of my own...do you think that would work back in America?! It's weird here though they charge you to sit in at their restaurants...I don't understand how that's a good business strategy...it my mind I would think if you sat in their restaurant you would consider getting more food or getting more to take home...whatever it is, just seems like you'd have more of a chance getting more business. That's just my thought process though I suppose.

We walked across the Millennium Bridge last night to make our way to the LONDON EYE!!! (This is me doing a model pic : P)

After we bought our tickets there was this really neat "4D London Eye Experience" that was 3D and the 4D part came in when they'd spray water at you or have bubbles float down on certain parts, it was really cool! But of course, not as cool as actually going on it!

It took about 30 minutes to make one full circle and we got great areal pictures of the London scenery. The pictures don't nearly capture it but still! By the time we were leaving London it was dark enough for Big Ben to be lit up which was also a fantastic sight to see.

Today was a pretty relaxed day, I just had class and then I came home and I've been working on papers. I'm trying to get as much done today because I'm spending my weekend in SCOTLAND starting tomorrow at 6:45 am!! I should probably get packing : )
